Congratulations to our partner Center for Climate Change and Transformation – Eurac Research for another successful event, which included, among other things, exploring how risk management for extreme events can be integrated into climate adaptation planning.
🌍 This week we are proud to host the #ADAPTNOW fourth project meeting in #Brunico and #Bolzano 🏔 💥 We kicked off the event focusing on climate change adaptation tools developed specifically for Val #Pusteria in collaboration with Lag Regional Management Pusteria Valley and the Pusteria Valley district.️ Through a field excursion to #Kronplatz, we shared our adaptation tools in detail. Special thanks to Dietmar Lanza from the Welsberg Forestry Office and Silvia Insam, Communication Manager of Federconsorzi Dolomiti Superski, for presenting their efforts and projects in Val Pusteria. 💼 Following the excursion, we hosted a workshop with the X-RISK-CC project. Together, we explored how risk management for extreme events can be integrated into climate adaptation planning. 👏 A big thanks to all project partners and our researchers for co-organizing these collaborative events!
