  • Delight your designers, communicate with clarity and deliver dazzling results. It all starts with a killer creative brief. We are pulling back the curtain over on the Pawprint Blog and, trust us, you're going to want to save this one. Get the scoop on the who, what, when, why and how of brief writing, PLUS a free template you can use to nail it every time. Marketers, project coordinators, small business owners, this one's for you. Make the most of everyone's time and resources, get it right the first time, and walk away with creative that kills. https://lnkd.in/eNGFtzKU #YellowDog #YellowDogDenver #Design #Creative #CreativeComms #DesignPrintMarketing #Denver #DenverDesign #DenverMarketing

  • Introducing the unboxing experience of the year, with design and print by YellowDog! Have you ever wanted to knit or crochet but didn't know where to start? The WIP Kit—named for the yarn lover's motto, "We are all a work in progress"—is your answer. Longtime client and friend of the dog Marsha Corn created these kits to spread the love of the fiber arts beyond the Tangled Ball, her Edgewater Public Market yarn shop. We jumped at the chance to help a fellow local woman-owned business bring this big idea to life in a complete package that was as beautiful as the concept. The key ingredients that we contributed to this irresistible ensemble include custom designed and printed boxes, tissue paper, canvas zip pouches, temporary tattoos, welcome letters and how-to brochures. Put it all together, and you've got a delightful package that's almost too pretty to open. Luckily, once you've made it through your first work-in-progress project, advanced knitting and crochet kits will be hitting shelves to take you to the next level. 📸 photographed with love by Stephanie Tucker 💛 design and print by YellowDog 🧶available for purchase at The Tangled Ball #DesignPrintMarketing #WIP #WIPKIT #LearnToKnit #CustomBoxDesign #CustomBoxPrinting #Unboxing #PackageDesign #DesignForPrint

  • 🥜 You might know George Washington Carver as the peanut man, but did you know that one of his many inventions was peanut-based printer ink? The petroleum alternatives used in printers today can be traced back to this little-known innovation. 📰 Civil Rights leader W. E. B. Du Bois broke new ground in graphic design to illuminate the Black experience in America, pioneering principles we still use today in visual storytelling. 🎨 Ruth Ellis is a name you might not know yet, but the life she built in the face of intersecting oppression and her lasting legacy of love is sure to inspire each and every one of us. This Black History Month, we're celebrating the icons like Carver, Du Bois and Ellis, as well as the many unsung individuals who’ve contributed to the work we do today. 💡If you’re as hooked as we are, go watch Dr. Cheryl D. Miller and Tasheka Arceneaux-Sutton present “The History of Black Women in Graphic Design” in this 2023 Poster House webinar. https://lnkd.in/gMc3renJ ➡️ Learn more about Ruth Ellis and the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit. https://lnkd.in/d4fhXDk ➡️ Visit and support BIPOC Design History https://lnkd.in/giuHm3Mp and Black Women of Print https://lnkd.in/dJManRj6 ➡️ Follow Lola Bakare and read her book, Responsible Marketing, to join the movement building a more authentic and inclusive future for our industry. https://lnkd.in/dRRNKSip And tell us what you learn! #BlackHistory #CommunicationArts #PrintDesignMarketing #BlackStories #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistoryMatters
