    Yelp has just announced its 2024 financial results. Here are some highlights: ⬆️ In 2024, Yelp delivered record net revenue of $1.41 billion and net income increased by 34% year over year to $133 million. 🏠 Our focus on our services roadmap drove our results – we achieved the 15th consecutive quarter of double-digit year-over-year growth in the fourth quarter – offsetting a challenging environment for restaurant, retail and other categories. 📱We continued to invest in our product-led strategy, releasing 80+ new product and feature updates in 2024. ➡️ Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to drive profitable growth by investing in three strategic initiatives: 1. Lead in Services 🏆 2. Drive Advertiser Value 📈 3.     Consumer trust is one of our top priorities. Our 2024 Trust & Safety Report outlines the significant measures we take to maintain the integrity and quality of content on Yelp. 👉 We issued 547 Compensated Activity Alerts and Suspicious Review Activity Alerts to warn consumers of deceptive review practices. We also closed 1,300+ user accounts for being associated with review exchange rings or other suspicious review activity. 👉 We introduced a new Consumer Alerts History section on impacted Yelp business pages, available on desktop, which details previous Compensated Activity Alerts, Suspicious Review Activity Alerts, and Questionable Legal Threat Alerts. 👉 In 2024, Yelp placed 920 Media Attention Alerts on business pages that gained public attention, resulting in the removal of 56,900+ reviews. 60% of Media Attention Alerts were linked to social media activity on TikTok, Facebook, and X. Political incidents also drove a 96% year-over-year increase in Unusual Activity Alerts. 👉 We avoided producing personal information related to 98% of user accounts that were the subject of legal demands from law enforcement, government agencies, and private parties.
