President Biden (The White House) signed the “Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act,” (S.141) into law on January 2, 2025. The law increases access to home and community-based care, while reviewing the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) caregiver and long-term care programs to improve veterans’ healthcare and benefits. Thank you to California Senator Alex Padilla who co-sponsored this bill.
