🚛🔋 𝗭𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗦 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 RTR Conference 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 The ZEFES project presented its work and achievements at the 8th edition of the RTR Conference during the session "𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆-𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀" Here are some key takeaways from this session, moderated by Eric Cerneaz (CINEA) & Ian Faye (Robert Bosch). 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Aligning vehicle technology with energy grid capabilities and charging networks 🔹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀: Addressing challenges in cross-border operations and vehicle standards 🔹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰: How digital tools and AI can optimise fleet management 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The importance of joint efforts between transport operators, vehicle manufacturers, and policymakers The 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and ZEFES is helping to prepare the way by integrating cutting-edge vehicle technologies with logistics requirements. Today, the ZEFES project was presented during the session on Zero Emission Systems for HDV at the RTR Conference! The project coordinators did not only showcase the latest achieved results, but also highlighted some key challenges we are facing in the project. This includes the energy infrastructure, the harmonisation of legal frameworks in the EU memberstates (like the Directive on Weights and Dimensions), and the Digital Twin platforms.
