We’re pleased to introduce Marcel Huschebeck in our coffee break, a researcher with over 20 years experience at PTV Group, driving research in logistics and decarbonization. 👏 Marcel focuses on electrifying logistics fleets, fostering collaboration, and decarbonization. He’s also behind the development of PTV’s EV-Route Planner for electric trucks. 🚛 Together with his team, Marcel is leading the user requirements in WP1 and overseeing the implementation of 15 pilot sites that integrate electric trucks and chargers. 🚛 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ZEFES 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁! The ZEFES project is setting the standard for zero-emission long distance freight transport by promoting 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 (𝗕𝗘𝗩𝘀) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 (𝗙𝗖𝗘𝗩𝘀) across Europe's logistics networks. With 4 truck OEMs, 2 trailer OEMs and key logistics partners, ZEFES will test nine vehicle concepts, covering over 1 million kilometres on European corridors under real-world conditions. In line with the EU Green Deal, ZEFES aims to make zero-emission logistics more affordable, reliable and energy efficient by addressing critical challenges such as charging infrastructure, vehicle efficiency and fleet management tools. 🌍 Recap of the ZEFES GA & Stakeholder Symposium 2024 🌍 Last week, our partners at Volvo Group hosted the third ZEFES General Assembly meeting and the second Stakeholder Symposium at their headquarters in Gothenbrug. During the GA, held on October 22, our project partners provided a status update of their work in the project. The next day, we were joined by our external stakeholders for the Stakeholder Symposium featuring a unique World Café format, allowing participants to dive deep into key aspects of the ZEFES project.
