Introducing one of Zwick Construction’s newest project, the @Home Best Western in St. George, UT. Our team is preparing to break ground on the project in the coming days. We’re excited to bring another project to St. George’s hospitality sector!

Congratulations to our Yorba Linda California team on receiving the 2024 Safe Project of the Year Award! This is a major accomplishment that requires consistent dedication to enforcing and maintaining safe practices on a jobsite. The superintendent on the project explained, “At our project, we’ve built a culture where tradespeople trust us with their questions and doubts. They are confident that we will listen to them and address their concern.” This culture of safety was crucial, especially considering the important milestones the project hit last year, which could have presented an array of safety risks. For example, throughout the year, the project team spent months working on structural steel, deep underground utilities, and the steeple tower installation. Through each phase, the team focused on safety, identifying and correcting any issues. Our Director of HSE added, “This project team has made safety a part of their daily activities and immediately identifies and makes corrections if a safety violation is observed. This is done through coaching and training the individual to put their safety first–and not production.” Echoing those words, we express our admiration of the Yorba Linda team for their dedication to safety throughout 2024!

As we welcome in a new year, we can look back on 2024 and see a year full of opportunities, milestones, and growth. At Zwick Construction, we started and completed projects, learned together, served alongside each other, and celebrated successes. Thanks to each employee, trade partners, and everyone else who made that all possible!

Our Lindon, UT project lit up the night sky this Christmas.

Merry Christmas from Zwick Construction! We wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace and joy.

Just in time to welcome many snowbirds this winter season, a St. George Zwick Construction team turned over some extensive remodels at the Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Clubhouse. The remodel began with demolishing several parts of the upper level, including the kitchen, bar, reception area, dining room, and grill. After re-framing, moving walls, and updating finishes, the new, larger dining room, kitchen, bar, reception desk, and storage allow Entrada to serve more guests. The owners requested beautiful, upscale finishes including brass features in the flooring and large wine cellars. While fall to spring is Entrada’s busiest time of year, many events, weddings, and tournaments take place during the summer months, when construction was happening. The team had to be mindful of those events by installing barriers and scheduling noisy activities before or after the event.

Nearly 100 years after its grand opening, the Ford Building in Salt Lake City, UT has undergone some major interior renovations, including some completed by our Tenant Improvement Division. Most recently, the division turned over a remodel of the common areas and hallways, featuring new tile floors, metal panels, windows, paint, and more. Working around operating businesses within the building, our team was able to deliver this project weeks early.
