What is problem-solving: Your ability to identify, analyze, propose solutions, and make decisions. Problem-solving helps you to address issues, monitor success, and learn from the experience. For example, we use this skill to make hiring decisions, select courses of action and troubleshoot technical failures. The Skills for Success model divide problem-solving into 6 components: • Identify the issue. Is it familiar or new, simple, or complex? • Gather information. What are the facts? • Analyze the issue. • Identify different possible actions you could take. • Address the issue. • Evaluate the effectiveness of the solution or decision. Let's learn the idiom “had a brush with danger” It refers to a situation where someone narrowly avoids a dangerous or risky situation. For example: 1️⃣ A person is driving down the highway when another car suddenly swerves into their lane. They manage to swerve just in time to avoid a collision and continue driving safely. You could say, 🗣️ “They had a brush with danger but luckily avoided the accident.” 2️⃣ In a business context, imagine a company is about to launch a new product, but they discover a critical flaw just before release. They fix the issue in time, preventing a potential disaster. Someone might say, 🗣️ “We had a brush with danger, but we caught the problem just in time.” Learn English quickly and efficiently by increasing your English level in one month by starting learning with us today! Where do you stand? Lot of emphasis given on goals and what needs to be done. I believe the first step for all trainers is to have a deeper reflection on where do they stand in terms of: 1.Their being 2.Their services 3.Their revenue 4.Their digital presence 5.Their social proof etc.... Just being aware of the current state is good enough. It can take days to even understand what's the current state, one has to go deeper and deeper to understand.... I don't know how many trainers would even understand this but it really helps.... Share your views Asif Ebrahim Learners Conclave 9967352331

As trainers, it is important to teach standards and processes. We want all our techs to run calls "The Summers Way." HOWEVER. Always remember that employees are individuals, not mannequins. Each person has a story and a preferred learning style. And no adult learns unless you can show them "what's in it for me?" and back that up. Invest in tools like Culture Index or DISC to help broaden/deepen your understanding of your people. Meet them where they are, and speak each person's individual language. Also, whenever possible, don't wear your hat backward unless it is super windy.
