Position: Tutor
We provide personalized one-on-one instruction to students in specific subjects or academic areas. Responsibilities include:
Professional and timely communication, students, and clients.
Assessing students' understanding of subject matter.
Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans.
Delivering clear and engaging instruction.
Monitoring progress, providing feedback, and offering support.
Collaborating with parents, teachers, and stakeholders for student success.
Managing schedules to accommodate student needs.
Creating a positive and productive learning environment.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required)
3+ years of professional ELA tutoring experience (required)
1+ years of professional online tutoring experience (required)
Fast, reliable internet connection
Own computer/laptop and headphones
Own or willing to purchase a stylus/pen (Wacom recommended)
Professional, quiet environment for sessions
USA-based bank account & USA SSN (required)
Strong subject matter expertise
Compensation
$25 per hour
Time Commitment
Initially freelance, approximately 10 hours per week with potential for increased hours. Availability on nights and weekends required.
