Magnify is looking for a seasoned Stock Market Analyst who boasts a background in Financial Analysis with stock market experience. In your role as a Stock Market Analyst, you’ll analyze the stock market trading of client companies and research equity markets to provide in depth, detailed reports that explain trading volumes, changes in stock ownership, and other stock market activities.


You will be working in a dynamic environment within varied industry sectors while using your expert and in-depth understanding of clients’ industry and business prospects to deliver stock trading intelligence and the equity market. You will be interfacing with and communicating your analysis directly to C-Suite executives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data analytics, or a related field
  • A Minimum of 3 years of experience. 5-10 years strongly preferred
  • Expert understanding of financial instruments, the stock market, and the investment process.
  • Firm understanding and grasp of stock valuation methods.
  • Prior experience working with financial data sources including FactSet Bloomberg
  • Possesses the ability to pull actionable insights from large, complex data sets.
  • Wields the ability to communicate financial data and generate reports with actionable information gathered from both internal and external data sources.
  • Facilitate and develop trusted advisor relationships with key business leaders.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organization skills.
  • Strong Attention to detail.
  • Self-started with strong initiative and business acumen.
  • Strong and professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully as a collaborative team member
  • Advanced Level skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel


Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


Other qualities of a successful candidate:

  • Possess CFA charter or enrollment in CFA program
  • Familiarity or experience with option trading
  • Technical analysis


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and dissect investor buying and selling activity to support client investor relations and initiatives.
  • Derive institutional buyers and sellers of shares by analyzing settlement activity.
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on fluctuations of stock prices, developing and key industry news, and other developments in the market on behalf of corporate clients.
  • Offer objective feedback and perceptive analysis of how client stock is evaluated and viewed as an investment vehicle.
  • Create and generate in depth client reports that summarize trade activity and stock/market performance.
  • Communicate key findings and pressing developments directly to client executives.
