Optimal Home Care is currently hiring a Healthcare Administrator to join our team. As a Healthcare Administrator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the administrative operations of our healthcare agency.

At Optimal Home Care, we are committed to providing exceptional home health care services to our clients. Our agency is Medicare and Medicaid certified, as well as CHAP Accredited, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards in the industry. We offer a wide range of services including skilled nursing, behavior health nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services.

As a Healthcare Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the daily business operations of the agency, including financial management, human resources, compliance with regulatory standards, and quality assurance. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the best care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the administrative operations of the healthcare agency
  • Manage the financial aspects of the agency, including budgeting, billing, and reimbursement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of care
  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff members
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Conduct audits and quality assurance activities to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide leadership and support to staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or a similar role
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Proficiency in computer and software applications
  • Experience working in a home health care setting is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
