EuMEA HSE Manager (f/m/d)
We are looking for a senior lead competent person to manage and shape all HSE related strategy, processes, projects and matters within the European organization of Nufarm. There are 4 local HSE responsible professionals working on our manufacturing sites (UK, France, Austria, Egypt) who are reporting to the function in matrix and to travel between the plants is a requirement appr. once a month.
The jobholder will be responsible for leading the Value Chain Management and manufacturing/supply chain related operational excellence improvements initiatives in the region through the definition, business case approval, implementation and benefit deliveries reviews.
Your location can be a European country close to one of our productions (listed above) and chemical manufacturing experience is a must as being very specific. As to the international aspects of the position you would also need to speak English fluent.
What is possible?
To hold a leadership role with responsibility for developing Health, Safety & Environmental standards, and ensuring that they are embedded within the whole European organization.
To be responsible for setting the strategic framework for the management of these standards and for defining and delivering against objectives that enable the development, the monitoring and the achievement and the continuous improvement.
To provide information, technical guidance and coaching on all Health, Safety & Wellbeing and Environmental matters for the regional and site management teams.
To identify and advising on current and future requirements and ensuring that systems, policies and processes are in place to support the continuing development of a HSE culture across the European organization.
To report the performance on monthly bases and assist to analyze the process hazard on all PSM KPIs.
To lead and assist the investigations of possible incidents and accidents and to assure correcting actions to be done.
T he ability to work at all levels across the organisation.
What do you bring?
MSc / bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Safety Management
Strong leadership experience in a HSE management role including experience with process safety related subjects like HAZOP & LOPA
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels to drive change.
Strong role model with the ability to influence a positive HSE culture across all levels of the organization.
Ability to distil a range of complex and disparate data into useable information.
Ability to communicate in English both verbal and in writing.
A practical approach to problem solving.
Sound priority setting.
