Wavelength Strategy is a boutique digital firm dedicated to elevating digital persuasion and paid media strategy for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations.


In 2024, we are partnering with Democratic candidates up and down the ballot — from local elections and advocacy campaigns to definitive House and Senate races. In this role, your work will be on the frontlines of those important fights.


We are seeking: Experienced mid-level Motion Graphics/Video Producers OR Senior Motion Graphics/Video Producers who can produce beautiful, ad-length video content on a tight turnaround. Applicants should have experience handling every part of the production process, from asset design, to animation, to color correction, to sound design.


This is an election cycle position and will conclude November 2024.

  • Knows how to carry a script through every part of the production process, from asset design, to animation, to color correction, to sound design.
  • Is a proficient designer as well as an expert video editor, knows how to use type, color, and visual hierarchy to communicate quickly and effectively.
  • Has an expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; Audition CC, Animate CC, or Cinema 4D a plus.
  • Is comfortable with both collaborative work and completely independent projects.
  • Preference for candidates with additional skills in: audio engineering, color grading, VFX, and/or illustration.
  • Is passionate about Democratic politics and progressive issues.


And for the Senior role, all of the above as well as:

  • Proven ability to produce short-form video content packages (30-second, 15-second, 6-second) along rapid timelines for use in advertising
  • History of effective selection and direction of voice actors
  • Experience coaching, guiding, and collaborating with other/more junior creatives on the different aspects of video editing and motion design
  • Familiarity with needs and expectations of Democratic political clients
  • Preference for candidates with additional skills in: audio engineering, color grading, VFX, and/or illustration


Benefits

Location: Wavelength Strategy is headquartered in Washington, DC but this position will be flexible, remote.

Employee Status: This position is full-time, exempt.

Salary & Benefits: The minimum salary expectations for this role are $6,700/month for the mid-level Motion Graphics/Video Editor and $7,500/month for the Senior Motion Graphics/Video Producer, both commensurate with relevant experience. Healthcare, including vision and dental, is 100% employer paid.
