Nolan Capital is seeking an Analyst to join its investment team (immediate or Fall 2024 start date). Investment team members gain experience across a wide range of industries, transaction types and sizes, as well as involvement with all aspects of sourcing, evaluating and executing investments.
Nolan Capital, based in Hermosa Beach, CA (office is a short walk from the Hermosa Beach Pier), is the family office of Peter J. Nolan. We originate, execute and manage private equity, real estate, and other investments on behalf of the Nolan family.
Our private equity strategy is focused on making control investments in leading middle-market companies ($5-$75 million EBITDA). We seek to partner with exceptional management teams who share a common vision for future growth. We are patient investors who take a long-term approach in providing strategic and financial support to help build sustainable shareholder value.
Our firm is managed by Peter J. Nolan, who has over 40 years of investment experience, most recently as former Managing Partner and current Senior Advisor of Leonard Green & Partners, a leading private equity firm with approximately $75 billion of assets under management (www.leonardgreen.com).
Responsibilities
• Analyze and prepare recommendations for new investment opportunities
• Review of confidential business and financial information on potential investments
• Support investment team due diligence processes and coordinate with third party advisors
• Actively monitor and support portfolio companies with add-on acquisitions, budgeting, strategic analyses, and debt financings
Required Qualifications
• Full-time investment banking, private equity or other similar investment experience preferred
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to successfully work with operating executives
• Self-starter and eager to be involved in all aspects of the investment process
