Position Description
DEFINITION 6, a Bridgenext company is a full-service marketing agency with offices in Atlanta and New York . We are looking for a talented Production Assistant to join our team in New York.
Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Production Assistant will work directly with all producers, through all phases, including Pre-Production, Production & Post-Production. This is a full-time flexible hybrid position with work often done remotely from home, frequent work in-studio and on-location in the metro NYC area, and occasional in-office days at our New York City office.
This is an entry-level position and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn television & radio production.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Assist in the production of live broadcast events
Assist in the creation of TV & radio commercials
Assist in the creation of social videos & corporate/industrial videos
Booking crews and studios, production calendar management
Script writing, copy editing, translation and proof reading (English-Spanish)
Transporting equipment, props & décor to and from shoots
Setting up equipment, props & décor on-location and in-studio
Pick-ups, deliveries & returns
Media asset management, downloading/uploading video files and logging footage
Workplace: Hybrid / On Location / New York
Salary Range: $45k-$55k annually
Must Have Skills
Bilingual English/Spanish, fluent in both languages
Ability to distinguish colors accurately
Work flexible hours, including early-morning, evening and occasional weekends
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiar with MS Outlook, Word & Excel (plus if familiar with Adobe CS)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift or carry equipment up to 20 pounds
Professional Skills
Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in both English and Spanish
Strong team and individual player
Must be detail-orientated with strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high-quality results
Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues
