Project Manager (On-site)

Role: Project Manager

Travel: Onsite 75%-100% during project deployment at any delivery station in Germany/Netherlands/Austria

Duration: 6 Months

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project with a globally recognised company driving innovation in logistics and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in deploying advanced engineering solutions across multiple delivery stations, contributing to the optimisation of processes and infrastructure.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Conduct field verification of drawings and identify interferences with existing/new equipment.
• Raise milestone checkpoint memos for different project phases and address concerns from various approver groups prior to the start of onsite works.
• Set up and manage daily calls with vendors, Operations, Workplace Health & Safety, and Reliability Maintenance Engineering. Provide daily progress reports to the Field Engineering Project Manager.
• Conduct site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Address and escalate any concerns during these site visits as needed.
• Manage project materials (e.g., signage, racking, equipment) delivered onsite, maintain inventory, and identify any gaps. Coordinate with Operations and RME teams to transport and install materials within the delivery station.
• Coordinate with IT to obtain access keys and monitor IT cabinets during data cable terminations. Validate cable installation and functionality with IT teams.
• Support the Field Engineering Project Manager during site acceptance tests
• Collect all documentation from vendors and validate it against deliverables. Ensure content accuracy (e.g., signed declarations of conformity, correct site names, etc.).
• Transfer all project documentation to the designated storage platform.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Project Manager for medium-complexity projects.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
