The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
  • Conduct pre-liminary interviews via phone or in-person
  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
  • Serve as contact person for branch locations
  • Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails
  • Facilitate weekly recruitment meetings with Leadership team
  • Managing both internal and external communication to maintain a positive employer reputation on platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and social media.
  • Communicating and negotiating wage rates and employment terms with candidates.
  • Collaborating with Hiring Managers and key stakeholders across North America to build diverse talent pools that align with current and future business needs.
  • Sharing and implementing recruitment best practices and processes with fellow Recruiters and HR Professionals.
  • Organizing hiring events and participating in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
  • Assisting the HR Manager in special assignments and projects that support the human resources team and organizational strategy.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Experience working with 100+ open requisitions as various levels
  • Team player who is growth-driven, positive, and open-minded
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
