Resident Services Coordinator Overview

The Resident Services Coordinator plays a critical role in fostering a welcoming and supportive community for residents. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, planning and executing resident events, and serving as a backup to leasing consultants. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and has a passion for enhancing the living experience of residents.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Services:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
  • Facilitate move-in and move-out processes, including orientation for new residents and conducting inspections.

Event Planning And Execution

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of resident events and activities to foster community engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage event budgets, secure vendors, and ensure all logistical aspects of events are handled efficiently.
  • Promote events through various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, and community bulletin boards.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from residents to continuously improve event offerings and participation.

Leasing Support

  • Assist leasing consultants during peak times, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries, both in-person and via phone or email, providing accurate information about availability, rental rates, and property features.
  • Support the marketing and advertising efforts to attract prospective residents.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate and organized resident files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with property management policies.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to resident services, events, and leasing activities.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the property management team.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in property management, customer service, or event planning.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic, friendly, and approachable. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a proactive attitude and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for resident events and leasing activities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
