Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of talent acquisition success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. This role has the potential to work in a hybrid model, working from both our Ripon, WI office and remotely, with ideal location being within a commutable distance to Ripon, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Builds effective partnerships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs, creatively source for open positions and develop proactive recruiting techniques and programs that are consistent with Alliance Laundry System’s mission, vision and values
  • Ownership of all campus relations, youth talent development programs and recruiting. Develop new strategies to maximize student engagement with the Alliance brand
  • Attract and hire internal and external candidates for open positions
  • Build hiring strategies and builds a talent pipeline to fill openings to include marketing campaigns utilizing social media, partnerships with the community on programs to attract talent to the area and coordinates hiring events
  • Provide high-quality candidate experience by being a brand ambassador, ensuring timely feedback to candidates
  • Ensure compliance by following recruitment processes, rules, and regulations to include proper documentation and dispositioning of candidates
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates, searches, and hiring manager interactions to ensure audit readiness
  • Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Maintain key recruiting metrics and reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Continual improvement of recruiting and onboarding experience

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or other related business Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • Demonstrated ability to source diverse talent from various channels to include web-based sourcing solution, networking and professional associations

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong planning and organizational skills; demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to detail. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver solid and consistent results for the business and bring assignments to successful completion
  • Proven ability in relationship management, making and keeping connections across all levels of the organization, effective at resolving conflict when it arises, and leverages relationships to help the team and the business succeed
  • Technical acumen with web-enabled systems and tools
  • Strong PC skills paired with high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and applicant tracking systems
  • Experience working with and understanding employment laws, regulations and requirements

Travel:

  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time for recruitment activities

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting
