Our client’s board is seeking a highly skilled Vice President (VP) to join their senior leadership team in the EU. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities for a large, decentralized organisation with annual revenues exceeding €100M.


This is a pivotal role that combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and leadership at the highest level. As a member of the board, the VP will represent shareholder interests while driving growth, innovation, and cultural alignment across the organisation.


Core Responsibilities


P&L Management and Strategic Leadership

  • Take full ownership of the consolidated P&L for a multi-site, decentralised business with revenues exceeding €100M annually.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.


Board and Shareholder Representation

  • Act as a shareholder representative and active member of the board, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Align organizational goals with board objectives and ensure consistent delivery of key priorities.


Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Oversee M&A processes, including due diligence, risk evaluation, and integration of acquired businesses.
  • Ensure smooth cultural and operational alignment post-merger to maximise value creation.


Growth and Market Leadership

  • Lead initiatives to drive innovation and seize growth opportunities in a decentralized, high-growth environment.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in revenue, market share, and profitability.


Leadership and Team Development

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance by adhering to the Leadership Charter.
  • Inspire and mentor leaders across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and values.


Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to support business success.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles with full P&L accountability for a decentralized, multi-site organisation with annual revenues exceeding €100M.
  • Strategic and Operational Excellence: A track record of success in balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
  • M&A Expertise: Demonstrated experience leading M&A initiatives, including due diligence and integration processes.
  • Commercial and Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in financial management, revenue generation, and navigating complex market dynamics.
  • Inspiring Leadership Style: A proven ability to lead by example, inspire teams, and drive collaboration and innovation across diverse functions.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to travel across the EU as required to support organisational goals.
