Breathe to activate and strengthen the vagus nerve: Part 2
- [Instructor] In this moment, I invite you to move your attention inward. Drop your awareness from your head all the way down into your feet. Feel the sensation of your feet resting on the floor. Take a moment, with your awareness trace the perimeter of your feet and just experience the sensation of your feet resting on the floor. And now move your awareness back up into your body and be aware of the pattern of your breath. Don't try to control the breath. Just experience it as it is in this moment. Experience the inhale and the exhale. Be aware of how it moves through your body. Be aware of how deep or how shallow the breath is. And now put a color to that breath to give your mind something to focus on. See your breath as gold and light warm like the sun and begin to direct your breath. Breathing in and out through your nose, mouth closed. Focus on your heart, on your chest. We're going to begin to breathe a breath…
