In future, having robots is not going to be an option, it’s going to be a necessity. Farmers are the backbone of our entire humanity. Just imagine, if we continue cutting down trees and global warming increases, the environment will become even worse. Maybe it will result in humans having to move towards artificial environments, and in nature only machines or robots can work. It’s just a thought, but technology is going to be our need for sure, for one reason or another.

🔍 Could the Future of Robotics be Here Already? The latest research from NYU, Meta, and Hello Robot has unveiled groundbreaking advancements in AI that empower robots to perform tasks in unfamiliar environments with astonishing efficiency—90% success rate, to be precise! This innovation introduces "robot utility models" (RUMs) that adapt to various settings without requiring exhaustive retraining. 📊 Traditionally, equipping robots for new tasks has hinged on vast data collection, a challenge that many in today's fast-paced market find daunting. RUMs revolutionize this process, allowing robots to leverage pre-existing training data to learn new skills across diverse environments, potentially transforming home automation into an accessible reality for all users. 🤖 The unique research method involved combining an iPhone with a reacher-grabber to capture about 1,000 demonstrations across 40 different scenarios. The results were compelling—initial success was at 74.4%, but with the integration of OpenAI's GPT-4o feedback, it soared to an impressive 90%. 🌍 What does this mean for the rapidly evolving robotics sector? As Mahi Shafiullah posits, a future where users can easily select and execute complex tasks online is possible. This evolution not only simplifies complexity but also democratizes access to intelligent automation technologies for those without specialized training. Stay Ahead in Tech! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 Most of us interact with generative AI platforms by entering prompts on a computer screen. But what if AI platforms could help with physical tasks, too? A California-based robotics company called Covariant wants to do just that. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐨? The startup’s software can already simulate some fun tricks, like fetching a tote bag or an apple from a box of random items. But Covariant, which has already raised about $222 million in funding, thinks its robotics platform will eventually have plenty of practical uses, too. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭: Most generative AI models are trained with vast quantities of textual data from the Internet, along with books and other sources. But Covariant’s model incorporates additional motion-based data, including videos of robots performing various tasks in the real world. The company’s AI model understands factual information and navigates physical spaces effortlessly. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞? Covariant has developed software that allows robots to perform a wide range of activities based on verbal commands from employees. Robots are usually designed to perform only one specific task repeatedly, but Covariant's solution expands their capabilities. “It can take in all of these different modalities that matter to robotics, and it can also output any of them,” CEO Peter Chen recently told Wired. “It’s a little bit mind-blowing.” The future is here, and it’s got a robotic hand extended to help.
