Absolutely awesome effort from Jo Bradshaw and her Ama Dablam team. The mountain can throw a million and one things at you - its both the beauty of it and the challenges it presents. 'Dream it - Plan it - Live it!!' as we say at 360. And oh boy, they did...

Tales from the Ama Dablam trail - (definitely) The End I am always a little bit sad when I have packed my bags to go home. Not that I don’t want to go home because after a month out here in Nepal, I am definitely missing my own bed. It’s just that I love it here so much, love the teams I work with, love the vibe of Kathmandu, love the pure fresh air of the mountains, love the altitude and love the tough nature of expeditions in the Himalaya. My bags are packed, final coffee and cake being consumed, obligatory unnecessary bag purchase made and 50 sets of Prayer Flags duly bought and packed for Kendal Mountain Festival later this week. Half of my small and perfectly formed team are on their way south to Australia whilst Christine and I are heading north back to Blighty with stinky bags and buckets full of memories. This expedition has been a blast. Each day filled with great chats, learning opportunities, beautiful views, mostly Type 1 fun, a little bit of Type 2 thrown in for good measure, and true teamwork. The Ama expedition after burn will last for a long time and I will revel in its glow. I am giving a talk to a school on Wednesday evening with ‘family’ being part of the brief and I will talk animatedly about my wonderful expedition family that I have had the privilege of being a part of for the last month. What ever you are up to this Monday, I hope you can surround yourself with your own expedition family, knowing that you have each other’s back. Until next time Nepal…❤️🇳🇵 360 Expeditions Páramo Directional Clothing SueMe Water-to-Go Ltd Osprey Europe PHD
