Recently, Zomato revealed the all India order count feature that sparked varied reactions within the tech community. I’ve seen plenty of posts asking “What value does this add to your user?” etc etc. This underscores a shift in product culture, where every new addition is expected to address a problem or drive metrics. However, not every feature needs to be about growth or outcomes. Sometimes, it’s about creating something enjoyable. As PMs, we too often prioritize data and measurable impacts, potentially overlooking the value of fun and creativity. Innovation doesn’t always need a tangible reason. Sometimes, it's simply about delighting users. Let’s not forget that joy can be a worthy pursuit in itself.

Does any founder have any plans to start a new platform to enable professionals to talk about say 1) AI and its impact on us. Non technical guys with limited or no coding skills 2) How to survive its onslaught 3) New business ideas and opportunities 4) General stuff which enhances your IQ and forces you to think 5) Good things happening to normal mortals like us The only thing that i see these days are : 1) Quick Commerce 2) 10 min delivery 3) From Rs 2000 to 20000 crore empire 4) One more company getting into 10 min delivery 5) Add one more 6) Fake stories and incidents This site was great couple of years back. So much to learn and observe what is happening in India and around the world Not any more . Zepto, Zomato, Swiggy etc are now literally killing it in all possible ways. 🙂

From the movie's depiction of a delivery partner's lifestyle, I realized a significant issue: underutilization. These hardworking individuals often spend long hours waiting for orders, resulting in less daily income as they're only paid for active delivery time. This creates a cycle of financial strain and lowers their standard of living. This got me thinking… What if we could change this? ✨ Inspired by India's ONDC initiative, which I analyzed during a hackathon last year, I wondered if we could create a platform that aggregates delivery requests from food delivery, quick commerce, ride-sharing, and even pick-up services. By streamlining order allocations, riders could be consistently utilized, potentially combining roles like food delivery and passenger transport to maximize their earnings per day.
