🚀 Exciting news for Difftract Technology! They have been awarded a $1,000,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) under the National Science Foundation subagency. This award is part of the Small Business Innovation Research Program Phase I Action. #SBIR #STTR 🔬 The grant will fund the development of a novel holographic 3D optical metrology tool for precision engineering and manufacturing. This innovative tool uses a high-resolution computer-defined 3D light field to perform rapid, non-contact measurements on parts during the fabrication process. With sub-10-micron resolution, this technology promises to revolutionize low-volume, high-precision manufacturing, which is crucial for industries like automotive, aerospace, and industrial automation. #Innovation #Manufacturing 📅 The project will span 1 year and 11 months, starting on September 15, 2024, and ending on August 31, 2026.
