Ever tipped so much that you wondered if you bought the whole restaurant? This is tipping culture of the USA Early in my U.S. business trips, I learned fast: get tipping right, or face some seriously awkward moments. So here’s a quick cheat sheet for you to avoid tipping disasters: 👉 Restaurants: A standard tip is 15-20% of the total bill for good service. 👉 Taxis or Rideshares: Rounding up or tipping 10-15% is customary. 👉 Hotels: $1-2 per bag for bellhops and $1-5 per night for housekeeping 👉 Bars: $1-2 per drink, or 15-20% of the total bill And here’s a fun tip—sometimes, a simple nod or a discreet hand gesture while leaving a tip can go a long way in showing appreciation. What’s your funniest tipping experience? Ever had that awkward “Did I tip too much or too little?” moment? Ankit Agarwal #TravelTips #USTravel #BusinessTripLife #AmericanCulture

When you work in Business Travel, meetings tend to look a little different 😉 (though drvn HQ does have a gorgeous conference room that I rather enjoy!) When I met the wonderful Lauren Parker for lunch, I had no idea that we were at the opening of #Flecha, Mark Wahlberg's newest restaurant in #Vegas. I knew my company would be great, but I had no idea that Cristhian Salazar would be the Master Chef in the kitchen, preparing some incredible off-menu surprises for us! ✅ Building Connections ✅ Growing Business ✅ Gaining Experiences Never stop growing, learning and creating relationships. #businesstravel #lasvegas #travel

**As a concierge, you’re never truly "off duty."** Walking through my city, I naturally keep my eyes open to spot what’s new or might offer value to my guests. Even when trying a new restaurant, it’s impossible to fully relax – because part of me is always thinking, *“Would this be memorable for my guests?”* Exploring the city becomes a constant pursuit of hidden gems, authentic experiences, and unique recommendations. While others may simply enjoy a meal or a new spot, a concierge mentally notes the details: the ambiance, service, best dishes, and even the best seats. All to understand the experience deeply, so I can deliver spot-on recommendations. This ongoing awareness transforms “off hours” into opportunities. And while it might mean we never fully switch off, it’s this dedication to discovery and detail that elevates the guest experience and connects them more personally to the city. #concierge #hospitality #guestexperience #luxuryservice #cityexplorer
