Truck sales in Australia have cooled in mid-2024 due to inflation, with a 14.8% drop in June compared to the previous year. However, this was still the second-best June on record. While light truck sales declined sharply, van sales soared, achieving record results.

New truck sales have slowed since the whirlwind start to 2024, but overall the market is still on track for a record year. Here are the latest numbers from the Truck Industry Council.
