Construction of new warehouses expected to rebound after the slump experienced in 2023 where total supply of new warehouses fell by almost 1 million sqm2, due to rising construction & debt costs. 📈Gatwick Regional Industrial Market Update: Winter 2024 Whilst the industrial investment market has suffered a little in Gatwick this year, we remain cautiously optimistic for 2025, as a range of new high-specification units are due to market. Industrial availability currently sits at approximately 800,000 sq ft, with a further 200,000 sq ft in the industrial development pipeline. And whilst take-up was 400k sq ft this year, compared with 700k in 2023, demand for modern ‘green’ industrial units remains high across Sussex.
