Boeing announced plans to stop the production of 767 freighters, delivering the remaining 767 freighters ordered by customers, and then conclude production of the commercial programme in 2027. Kelly Ortberg, President and CEO, Boeing in a message to employees shared "some difficult decisions and several programme updates: *On the 777X programme, the challenges we have faced in development, as well as from the flight test pause and ongoing work stoppage, will delay our programme timeline. Need some more audience help - looking for facts, dates and tail numbers for the HH-52A (B) to HH-65A transition... We are fairly certain of this: On 16 December 1987, the last HH-52B #1462 departed from Air Station Kodiak and ALPAT mission support responsibility shifted to the H-65 Dolphin (series) helicopter. The last ALPAT HH-52B aircraft commander was likely Terk Williams. We are NOT certain of - when did the first HH-65A arrive in Kodiak? What was the tail number? Who were the pilots? How did it arrive (on the back of a cutter)? Did it fly up the coast of Canada and Alaska from Port Angeles? What was the initial compliment of aircraft? How many? What tail numbers? Also, I think Gary Odom was the last HH-52A ALPAT EO - who was the first HH-65A ALPAT EO? I saw the name LT Phil Bray on a document? While we’re at it who was the first ALPAT HH-52A EO?
