Since November 12, 2024, our teams at the Fort-de-France control tower have been testing an innovative air traffic control system in electronic stripping with live traffic. This complex operation, conducted in partnership with the Canadian manufacturer ADACEL, has been carried out with the highest level of professionalism. Its goal is to ensure the system's smooth integration with operational staff practices and to verify its robustness before it is fully certified for use. Comprehensive information has been provided to airlines and airspace users, and neighboring control centers. This project is a key step in modernizing air traffic management in the French West Indies and French Guiana. At this crucial time, our teams can count on my full support.
