ADHD Alliance reposted this
Festive greetings friends. I have been rather quiet on here the last week or so as I have been unwell. I think it may well have been good old covid, so I have laid low and rested. I really wanted to put together some sort of guide to making Xmas ND friendly for the membership of the ADHD Alliance. However time and said illness have stopped me making a bespoke guide. However, I have found an article from my local council that gives some great advice. Although it is aimed at children, the guidance and tips it give work just as well for adults, and I am endeavouring to act on a few of them for myself (For example my family know I may need a time out at some point!) I have put this into a document along with some links to other useful guides on the same topic. I cant take any credit for the work, but hope people may still find this useful, so thought I would share it here.
A really good reminder. I just finished seeing my last client for the year yesterday and I'm already feeling the void of routine heading for me. But fear not! I have plans in place to keep an eye on that and set up something like a Christmas routine instead. May the festive period bring you all you need! I look forward to interacting with you again in the new year, or before if I can't stick to my own social media boundaries.
Get well soon Daley. Big hugs
