The IMI has today announced a strategic transition for our executive team, designed to better position us for the challenges and opportunities ahead in the automotive sector. Effective from 1st July 2024, Steve Nash will be changing his remit as CEO to concentrate on building the IMI’s external influence, handing over operational functions to a revised executive team. The IMI Board will begin recruiting a permanent executive team within the next 12 months and during this period of transition we are delighted to announce that the Board has appointed Kevin Finn as Executive Chair, Azlina Bulmer as Managing Director and Simon Barrell as Chief Financial Officer as the IMI executive team. Azlina will have responsibilities for overall management, organisation and staffing of the IMI, supported closely by Kevin and Simon. As the professional body for people in automotive, the IMI remains committed to its community of over 100,000 members and the future success of the automotive sector.
