❤️ GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2024. Advanced Design, a 501(c)(3) award-winning nonprofit, has been driving impactful change in the community for nine years. We rely on community support to sustain our programs, initiatives, and scholarships. Your contribution—whether through a donation, word-of-mouth promotion, or social media—can help us create life-changing opportunities for students and provide free, accessible design education. Donations directly support our programming and our BIPOC Scholarship Fund, which allows students to attend Offsite at no cost. This GivingTuesday, join us in making 2025 a transformative year for the communities we serve. A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Box Clever, fuseproject, Gantri, frog, Final Aim, Inc., KeyShot, level, PA Consulting, Ammunition, PROWL Studio, MNML and WHIPSAW for supporting our programming this year! 🌟 Visit this link to support the next generation of designers and help us make a difference: https://shorturl.at/f17kw #design #designeducation #industrialdesign #GivingTuesday

Always fun to learn what is coming into your community, yet even better when you help build connections as businesses work to get established in your community. That’s what is going on here with the sharing of ideas, energy and resources for this school coming to Apex! What can we do for your business? #BuildingConnectingInspiring #GrowingCommunity #SharingResources
Great meeting with Michele Bandy of Grace Christian School and Katie McMillan who volunteers with Grace Christian. Did you know that this school that currently operates in Raleigh and Cary is consolidating by moving the entire system to Apex? It will be located just north of US 1 off Veridea Parkway. Based on the renderings, this will be a great campus that allows for more classroom space and to have all grade levels represented on one campus. Not to mention all of the amenities and special touches that will be worked into the design. Still time for you to be involved in the naming or donating to help them meet their fundraising goal (reach out directly to Michele). Can’t wait for this to become a reality by being built. #LetsChamber

Hey, Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services (Wells Fargo), for a company “known for creating innovative solutions,” why is your funding portal a Sisyphean chore? Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services administers funding from various private and family foundations and manages applications through a single portal. (So far, so good.) They use a universal application that’s identical for each funder. (Promising!) BUT, you can’t send one application to multiple funders. (D’oh!) That means if you apply to multiple foundations, even though they have identical applications, you have to set up a NEW application for each foundation AND Manually Re-enter Each Question’s Response. Not sure how this process is an “innovative solution,” but from where we’re sitting, the math isn’t mathing. Instead of trapping nonprofits in a nightmare of your own creation, why not simplify your application process and stop wasting nonprofits’ time and labor? We’ll take a logical solution over an “innovative” one. Have you or your loved ones been subject to mind-numbingly repetitive applications or other #CrappyFundingPractices? Tell us about them here: https://lnkd.in/gStX7dBd. https://lnkd.in/gtcppNA8

If your family is annoying you and you want to take a break by helping out your friendly neighborhood nonprofit founder, here are some questions for any of you doing some end-of-year LinkedIn lurking: ✨ What are some keywords I should explore on my quest to fund Soapbox Project building out joyful community spaces for climate action in Seattle, NYC, and more? ✨ Which funders/knowledgeable people should I talk to around (1) civic engagement (2) climate action/climate justice (3) social connection problem areas? At Soapbox, we live in the overlap of these issues. Plus we're a women of color led team, so any funders supporting women entrepreneurs would be a great fit. ✨ Lots of funders share on their websites "we do not accept unsolicited proposals" so... how do you solicit them, eventually? Where do you hang out? How do you get in the secret network of solicitation?! ✨ How do I meet people who want to use their donor-advised funds (DAFs) to contribute to Soapbox? ✨ Stocks... what inspires people to donate stocks to nonprofits? ✨ Any other non-profit fundraising tips you want to give me? (If your tip is a donation of $10,400 to support a month of our programming that works too 😂 ) Thanks fellow LinkedIn lurkers. Yours in solidarity and internet brainrot,

Through Got The Dot, we're empowering students to educate their peers about organ, eye, and tissue donation. The impact is best described by the students themselves: Carter Beardsley, a third-year member, highlighted that GTD has empowered members to recognize "that we have the potential to drive the change of tomorrow, ensuring that everyone registers as donors. Got the Dot has provided members with the necessary tools to bring about this change on our campuses, in our homes, and in our broader community." Second-year member Ali Matney has embodied GTD's mission by stating, "GTD has not only allowed me to contribute to my community and co-found a high school club but has also supported my educational journey by granting me a scholarship." Gurpreet Nijjar, a second-year member, has found the knowledge gained valuable, saying, "I would not have been informed about organ registration and would have continued ot believe in harmful misconceptions." These are the inspiring testimonials that students share with their peers and community members. May we ask for your support through sponsorship, reserved tables, individual event tickets, or donations of goods for our fundraising auction? It is invaluable to us. Thank you in advance for supporting JJ's Legacy and our mission. Together, we are creating a meaningful impact! #GotTheDot #JJsLegacy #GrillinandBrewin2024#OrganDonationAwareness #StudentLeaders#YouthEmpowerment #CommunityImpact#EducationForChange #DonateLife#SponsorshipOpportunity #FundraiserEvent #MakingADifference #StudentTestimonials#OrganEyeTissueDonation #HighSchoolClub#ScholarshipSupport #CommunityEducation#YouthInAction #Changemakers #SupportOurCause #TogetherWeCanSaveLives

Autonomous Fundraising is continuing to drive philanthropic growth from donors who may be rated to give, but are not assigned to gift officers because of human capacity limits. As this technology defines the amazing ways digital labor can work in collaboration with traditional workforces and fund Social Good, here's this week's look at the Virtual Engagement Officer by the numbers. To date, the Autonomous Fundraiser has now: · Raised $408,514 · Had 2,330 autonomous engagements with donors (as defined by CASE standards) · Taken 38K+ autonomous activities with donors · Made 110 handoffs to traditional fundraisers
