Excited to share that @Nyheim Plasma Institute of Drexel University, in collaboration with Boson Energy, has been awarded the BIRD Energy grant. Over decades of dedicated research and development, the Nyheim Plasma Institute has pioneered the Gliding Arc Plasmatron (GAP) – an innovative plasma torch known for its cost-effectiveness, low maintenance, and superior energy efficiency. Boson Energy has introduced a groundbreaking gasification process designed to treat mixed solid waste streams for Hydrogen production. The primary goal of the joint project is to leverage Drexel’s GAP technology to create an efficient tar-cracking apparatus, enhancing Hydrogen production using Boson’s process data.
