How do we make multi-stakeholder and cross-sector collaborations in healthcare sustainable? 💡 This topic was discussed at today’s international Tour de Health'24 conference, where I was privileged to be part of sharing the learnings from Lighthouse Life Science in Denmark. “Are public-private strategic partnerships in Life Science sustainable?”, Maria Kristiansen discussed during her keynote followed by Diana Arsovic, who introduced the Danish public-private partnership Lighthouse Life Science to address chronic diseases. The panel discussed the learnings and potential of the Lighthouse Life Science to catalyse innovative and equitable action on healthy weight and mental health while simultaneously drive economic growth. Great knowledge sharing and networking between high-level governmental, non-governmental and other healthcare stakeholders from Denmark and the 13 Danish health diplomacy countries 🌎 Thank you to all participants, international delegates, and speakers for contributing to dialogue and knowledge exchange 🤝 Healthcare Denmark is hosting Tour de Health’24 in close collaboration with Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indenrigs- og Sundhedsministeriet and Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs. Tour de Health’24 is co-sponsored by Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, Danish Industry, Dansk Erhverv, Novo Nordisk, and Lundbeck. #TourdeHealth | #multistakeholdercollaboration | #partnershipsinhealth

Today, we had the privilege to join the World Health Organization at the Europe Innovation Ecosystem for Public Health forum in Copenhagen. 🌍 We participated in a panel session moderated by Natasha Azzopardi Muscat, Director, Division of Country Health Policies and Systems, WHO Regional Office for Europe. 💬 During the session, we delved into the policy implications of health innovation and explored collaboration opportunities with WHO and other stakeholders to integrate innovative health solutions into public health policies across Europe. 💡 We also shared insights on how EIT Health fosters stakeholder engagement and collaboration to drive positive health outcomes through innovative approaches, while addressing key challenges in the process. 🤝 "To support health innovation and policy integration, we need a neutral platform bringing stakeholders together to share ideas, challenges, and identify solutions. This is a key role of EIT Health," said Cristina Chiotan, Head of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations Management, EIT Health. 🚀 Grateful for the opportunity to critically reflect on the significance of an ecosystem approach to the innovation agenda. 🙏 #HealthcareInnovation #PublicHealth #Collaboration

#vision, #courage, #doing Thnx Bogi Eliasen for sharing your post on this important topic! We urgently need a systematic change from the currently perverse business model where the driver is illness instead of health. Living a healthy life should be supported by a holistic healthcare approach where drivers are: Good, preferably organic, food intake Excercise Sleep Accountability on the development of health should be a municipality topic in stead of the responsibility of insurance companies. Measurement of the health development is not so difficult in our currently technology driven society. My company, inn4cure, measures the development of health of elderly people by introducing health watches combined with personal thresholds on the vitals measured by the watch. Trendalerts on the measurements easily allow for transparency on this important topic! This information can be shared with relatives and professionals allowing the move to the important step: prevention No signal, no problem 😉 creating peace for elderly, relatives and professionals #vision: Supporting healthy living at home creates a complete change in our current healthcare approach 😀
Very proud of a fantastic Friday in Berlin, where with a full day of hard work under the heading “Rebuilding Healthcare: From fractured sickcare to sustainable healthcare" based on 4 session to build the bases for the a holistic approach to the the challenges ahead - with a special focus on "from what to how" - how do we get started and get the things done? Session 1 - The Patient: out-of-hospital health and the future role of the hospital Session 2 - Building new economic and structural frames for sustainable health Session 3 - The technological enablers for a sustainable and fair health paradigm Session 4 - Secondary prevention as the central pillar of the new health paradigm My take away is straight forward: We need to act - more of the same does not work! We have the technology - but we need to think how we want to use it We need to build sustainable solutions together Much more service needs to be outside of the hospital The person and the patient needs to be the center point Secondary prevention can be one of the driving forces for the needed change - especially to reduce the avoidable disease burden - and thereby make our health system sustainable. Thanks to the fantastic people at the Robert Bosch Academy, Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Robert Bosch Hospital for organising, all the panelist and my Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies Health team - and my special assistant of the day Helena Maria. I also need to show my gratitude to the Sciana | The Health Leaders Network, who was very present with members but also have a huge impact on how we work with this challenge.
