Collaboration. It is so important because it brings together different ideas and skills, helping us come up with better solutions and deal with problems more effectively. Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI) hosted a conference recently that really honed into this. It drove home the point about the importance of t universities and businesses working together, which can seriously boost innovation here in Ireland. Why does it matter? As the EU pushes for closer ties between research and industry, Minister Emer Higgins attended the conference and emphasised the need to break down barriers that keep businesses from diving into knowledge transfer and innovation. The European Commission just rolled out four new rules that are all about making it easier for everyone to collaborate, ranging from managing innovation to getting academia and industry to team up more - setting the stage for a more connected ecosystem. Working together is really important for Ireland's growth because it allows businesses and researchers to pool their ideas and resources, helping them stay competitive and successful, especially in a constantly changing market. #Collaboration #BusinessGrowth

Confession time: I used to think attending conferences was overrated. But then I realized something important: The fridge repairer who doesn't attend a conference is the same as the accountant who never meets clients face-to-face. Conferences are where it's at. Not just for learning, but... - Meeting in-person - Networking - Collaborating If you're serious about being the best in your field, it's crucial to attend the IFMA Global Africa Conference on August 1-2 at the University of Professional Studies. Don't be the fridge repairer. Be the pro who takes his or her profession seriously. See you there.
