Collaboration among governments, stakeholders, and educational institutions is critical to nurturing a labor force equipped with skills that align with the demands of a rapidly evolving global economy. This conference envisions an Africa where innovation thrives, opportunities are abundant, and inclusive development ensures a resilient and prosperous future for all. This is a call to action for transformative thinking. The AFRICAN FINANCE AND ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION (AFEA)- University of Nairobi, Economics Dept, is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the Annual Conference of the African Finance and Economic Association. The conference will take place at the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya, from 16 to 18 July 2025. The broad theme and sub-themes for the conference as well as important dates for submission of abstracts are found below. Unpublished papers on all aspects of African economic growth and development are welcome, but preference will be given to those that pertain to the conference theme. Organized sessions are also welcome. Abstracts no longer than 500 words should be submitted to the submission link here no later than February 15, 2025.
