Yesterday, Our farm(Ekow Sam Farms) celebrated it 4 years of growth. We received our first set of DOCs(Day Old Chicks) on 12th March ,2020 just when COVID had hit Ghana. It was quite a challenging time to even get feed for the birds when we were on lockdown. Gradually, amidst all the challenges, we grew from our first set of 750 birds into 4000 birds. The future looks very bright as our presence on social media has pushed a daily demand for eggs which is 10 times more than what we currently produce. The potential for poultry farming in Ghana is huge and there are so many untapped opportunities.
