Today, I had the honour of being interviewed on BBC radio for World Suicide Prevention Day, where I shared my personal journey with anxiety and how it led me to become a therapist. It was a deeply meaningful conversation, especially as we discussed an episode from my Tickety Boo podcast where my co-host bravely opened up about the devastating loss of her younger brother to suicide. 💔 Talking about these painful, real experiences can feel heavy, but it's crucial. It's how we start breaking down the stigma around mental health and suicide. One of the most powerful parts of the interview was focusing on how important it is to *talk*—to have those difficult conversations, even when they’re uncomfortable. Whether it’s with a friend, a colleague, or a mental health professional, reaching out can be life-saving. If sharing these stories helps just one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it. Let’s keep these conversations going. If you haven’t already, check out my latest podcast episode of Tickety Boo on Spotify and Apple Podcasts where we dive into this crucial topic. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #MentalHealthAwareness #TicketyBooPodcast #ItsOkayToTalk #SuicidePrevention
