The EU-funded Life TANDEMS project provides knowledge transfer on the establishment and operation of energy communities in which citizens and municipalities work together to ensure a renewable, independent and decentralised energy supply. At the recent project meeting in Vienna, external experts from Austria gave the project partners from Belgium, Bulgaria and the Netherlands an insight into the various energy sharing models in Austria. Michaela Kaineder from the Nobile Group reported on her experience in the technical operation of successful energy communities.
