Awarded for news excellence. News 5 at noon starts now. Well, we're on the road once again today visiting Pioneer Physicians Network. I'm here with Doctor Pinto today. Thank you so much for having us out. So first of all, tell us a little bit about Pioneer Physicians Network. Physician owned group independent and we have 50 primary care physicians at 17 locations in Stark and Summit County. So tell us about your organization. I know recently you've kind of pivoted to value based care. What does that mean? Well, it's a very exciting, it may not sound exciting on the surface of it, value based care, but we've partnered with a company called agilon health and developed a new way of taking care of patients, value based care and what is value based care really? That means that we are presenting a brand new system where doctors are rewarded. For keeping their patients healthy and not only about how many visits they have, right? So we're putting the incentives in the right place and different than most places you will ever see. And in addition to that, this program beefs up the team for the primary care doctor. You know, we're trying to do all these things for all these patients all the time. And it's a very big job. But this system gives us a a team of nurses and social workers to help us watch the patients and they work for us and, and very responsive for us. It also gives us real time data so we can spot trouble early with the patient and we can be able to track them through the system much better than I could have on my own. And, and how important is it to find a primary care physician that, you know, interest? Because these things have changed, that relationship is probably central to to saving money and creating quality healthcare because that relationship will drive healthy outcomes. So getting to know one primary care doctor and knowing them for your lifelong path and health is very valuable and can drive outcomes. Thank you so much. So how do people connect?
