The Motsepe Foundation, alongside Agri Enterprises (Pty) Ltd and African Seeds Group - Southern Africa , has launched the IlimaLethu project to empower emerging farmers in Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal, transitioning them into small-scale commercial farming. 🚜 This initiative, part of the Inclusive Farming Partnership, will provide farmers with essential resources like seeds, fertilisers, financial aid, and market access through a partnership with HelloChoice®, a digital marketing platform. Aimed at enhancing rural farming economies, the project promises infrastructure development, agronomy support, and streamlined market facilitation, setting a transformative agenda for sustainable agriculture in South Africa. 🍃 With an initial phase targeting 76 hectares and up to 20 farmers, the project underscores collaboration between various stakeholders including Sakhumnotho Group Holdings, which recently invested in ASG, marking a significant stride in rural agricultural upliftment and food security. The CEOs of Sakhumnotho Group Holdings, ASG Technologies's Managing Director, and HelloChoice®'s CEO have all expressed their commitment to driving positive change, highlighting the project's potential as a blueprint for future agricultural initiatives. This collaborative effort illustrates a concerted move towards creating impactful and sustainable farming communities, showcasing a model of inclusive growth and economic empowerment. #investingintotommow #poineeringthefuture #agriculture
