🚀 GTC24 Highlights: Exploring RF Spectrum with GenAI & Software-Defined Radio 🛰️
In a session at NVIDIA's GTC24, speakers Dustin Van Stee, Joshua Martinez, and Dylan Eustice discussed interesting capabilities of software-defined radio (SDR) paired with generative AI for radio frequency spectrum exploration.
The presenters showed how captured RF signals, can be streamed directly into GPU-accelerated hardware for real-time processing. The integration of GnuRadio for streaming, alongside NVIDIA's Holoscan, Riva, and NeMo frameworks, offers a fascinating glimpse into the future of sensor processing applications.
For me, the highlight of the session is how received audio can be "translated" into actionable insights by leveraging signal processing tools. large language models and vector databases.
Dustin Van Stee, with his extensive experience and numerous patents in memory technology, alongside Josh Martinez and Dylan Eustice's profound work in AI/ML technologies for the public sector, demonstrated how to merge GenAI with sensor processing.
This presentation underscored the importance of open-source tools in achieving new levels of automation and efficiency.
