Adamantium, Vibranium, whatever they make airplane ✈ Black Boxes 🗃 out of. Why don't more scientists who work with superheroes apply for EB-2 NIWs 😎 ? If you have a virtually indestructible substance that can support the U.S. National Interest, consider a National Interest Waiver. In honor of #flyingfridays, can you make a stronger, lighter, less expensive arresting cable for fighter jets 🛩 ? Some people are paid big money to make things move. Others perhaps are paid big money to make things stop moving. Even Marvel comics described scientists and metallurgists who work with US Government in military research and development. Remember Dr. Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark (Ironman)? He found the tesseract 📦 , a cubical object possessing immense power and a nearly unlimited supply of energy. Dr. Myron MacLain during World War II created a virtually indestructible steel alloy named after the Greek mythological metal Adamantine. Aka Adamantium. **** You don't need a PhD to get an NIW. You don't even always need a Masters. There are times you don't even need a Bachelor's if you show exceptional ability in your field. What you have to show is a proposed endeavor that benefits the United States. You have to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience, and ability to make it actually happen. For a more realistic case, you may want to speak with an experienced U.S. Immigration Attorney who handles this kind of thing. #immigration #globalmobility #pilots #aviation #greencard

Landing in crosswinds is a true test of skill and precision. The technique involves using the 'crab' method to align the aircraft into the wind, then transitioning to a 'side-slip' just before touchdown. As you approach the runway, you land with one wheel first to counter the sideways drift, ensuring a smooth and controlled touchdown. It’s a perfect example of adapting to challenging conditions to achieve a safe and successful outcome. #Aviation #CrosswindLanding #Precision #Adaptability

Did you know? ✈️ The wingtip plays a crucial role in improving an aircraft’s efficiency! By reducing drag (the resistance that slows a plane down), wingtips help planes use less fuel, fly smoother, and even reduce environmental impact. 🌍

We are indeed heavier than air, yet if we manage to overcome gravity and ascend by employing some form of an aerofoil, that is referred to as flying. Mastering the art of flight entails gaining control over the specific type of aerofoil utilized for this purpose. In light of this, I am considering establishing a Flying Club at Go Fly Zone, where anyone can learn to fly, regardless of age, in the most straightforward manner possible... And learning to fly would just be the beginning; the Flying Club would also offer the opportunity to purchase, store and fly your very own aircraft. Helping in letting your dreams come true... #microlightaviation #microlightaviation #motorglider #glider #gliding #ppg #PoweredParaglider #ppc #PoweredParachute #Paramotor #Trike #phg #PoweredHangGlider

Look how gracefully she’s sailing! 😍 Do you know why? The Bow Olympus is officially prepared for the next phase of decarbonization! 🌍 After completing its first 5-year drydock at Chengxi, Bow Olympus is ready for the installation of four 22-meter-high eSAILs® in the coming months. During drydock, foundations were installed, radars and lighting adjusted to accommodate the sails, and visibility was enhanced with bow cameras. 🛠️ The vessel is now primed and ready for the final installation of the eSAIL® technology. This innovative project is part of Odfjell SE’s partnership with us (bound4blue), aimed at advancing Wind Assisted Propulsion Systems (WAPS) in tanker shipping. 🌬️ An in-depth study by Maritime at RISE (SSPA) helped Odfjell choose bound4blue as their collaborator, evaluating the best wind-assisted propulsion systems for their fleet. This collaboration marks a huge step toward reducing the industry’s carbon footprint. 🌱 With a 51% improvement in carbon intensity since 2008, Odfjell is leading the way in sustainable shipping! 🚢 A big thank you to Jan Arne Opedal, Erik Hjortland and Veine Huth for leading this initiative with us. Your leadership and collaboration couldn't have been better 💙 #shipsandshipping #windpropulsion
