How long would it take to do a minute once you've prompted the wait time? It actually should be creators first. I I'm not sure about that rumor. Is this project completely necessary to use this tool? We are working with Paul Trillo. Everyone gets scared that a train is going to come and hit the people. You know, we add sound and then we add color and then we add. Special effects when I look at the films that are in the theaters today. A lot of it doesn't inspire me. I'm like the biggest film nerd evolved. Then I think we can live in a better world. Yeah, not every like movie I see is great. Not every painting I see is great. And God knows not every song I hear is great. And of course Bob Dylan wrote like a Rolling Stone in 10 minutes. Doesn't take away from the song. Right now we're at another zenith of. Change and if you can look for that and if you can look for those unique moments and uniqueness. I think that it will be a very beautiful future. It's like a military operation where and not. Terminator. But maybe I'm wrong. The robots are coming. They're on their way. OK, so this one is from Nicolita, who is very active in the community and she wants to know what do you think about the future of video production and consumption? That's all she wrote. That's a big question. Hi, Nicolita. I hear you're very active in the community. I think that. I think personally. I am a student of history and SO. Umm, the way that film has typically worked is. And we can look back at like the start of the history of film. So Lumiere brothers, they come out, everyone gets scared that a train is going to come and hit the people. There's a film of a train and. The train doesn't hit people and in fact. It opens up this new world of creativity and I think after the. The introduction of of film and moving images came to be. It was almost like there's no improving on this. And then, you know, we add sound and then we add color and then we add. Special effects and animation and all these sorts of things, and right now we're at another zenith of. Change and and. I think a lot of people right now are running away from the train. They're scared that this new technological advancement is going to destroy a lot of things. And I can't predict. I can only look backwards and when I look backwards. I see. Those moments in history. When we add sound, when we add color to actually create a whole new tapestry of thoughts and feelings and. Methodologies and ways for making things, and that's my hope with this. My hope is that when I look at the films that are in the theaters today. A lot of it doesn't inspire me, and I think that the reason for that is that there is not a lot of. Interesting perspectives being represented, and I think that there's a kid somewhere that has a really great idea and this technology will help bring that idea to the forefront, and I'm really excited for that. The other thing that I would say is that I'm like the biggest film nerd of all. I still develop Super Eight film that I shoot. And I don't think that's going away. The biggest film of the year was. Oppenheimer and that was shot on. IMAX, you know, film like where you have to reload every 3 minutes of shooting because it's just so bulky. And there's film makers like Christopher Nolan. That act, that actively reject advancements of technology. And I think that that's OK too. I love Quentin Tarantino. I love going to his cinema called The New Beverly, where he exclusively plays 35mm prints. I love film. I love the magic of cinema. And if people don't like things that are made with AI, they really don't have to watch them and. If people are worried that AI is going to replace every job in the film industry, I think that if you look at the way the film industry is already working already executives are trying to make things faster, cheaper, and so I'm just. I feel. I am more excited about the hopeful elements rather than the doom and gloom elements. I think the doom and gloom is more a reflection of the way we think of ourselves rather than what is actually possible. It's the same as politicians. I don't like a lot of this choices for politicians and yet I am told that that's our only options where collectively if we decide that there's other options and there's other ways of doing things. Then I think we can live in a better world. So. The question is, what's the future of film going to look like and what's the future of viewing it gonna be look like? I think that that's something that is in our hands and. Obviously you're part of an AI community, So what do you want to make and what do you wanna tell? And not just can I use this tech, but how will this tech make? More humanity in our storytelling, and if you can look for that and if you can look for those unique moments and uniqueness. I think that it will be a very beautiful future and not. Terminated. But maybe I'm wrong. The robots are coming. They're on their way. The robots are coming. Yeah, yeah, a lot of people are dooming gloom about AI. And I mean, on the whole, I only ever see really good stuff happening, you know? People being able to diagnose themselves with medical conditions that doctors couldn't for 10 years and then all of a sudden that GPT tells you, ohh, the great artwork from Mid Journey and the video ideas and just, there's so much good stuff that's coming that I rarely hear about the bad stuff. And maybe that's because I'm biased and I want it to be a good thing, you know? I mean, I think there's a lot of crap as well. Like I'm not gonna sit here and go like ohh, it's all great. Everything I've seen barfed out of mid journey is like amazing. But what I will say is like yeah, not every like movie I see is great. Not every painting I see is great. And God knows not every song I hear is great. And because you have a tool that can generate a song for you, like that doesn't make it a good song. And also just because you work really hard. On something, that doesn't make it a great song either. I know people who spent 15 years on their masterpiece and you look at it and you go, Oh yeah, don't know if that's great. What value isn't it? I think not. The amount of time spent, of course, Bob Dylan wrote Like a Rolling Stone in 10 minutes doesn't take away from the song, but I think what? Bob Dylan, the true thing and, and when we were talking about time is actually Bob Dylan took a lifetime to write like a Rolling Stone. Not 10 minutes. The 10 minutes was the inspiration, but it took a lifetime and. Yeah, the people that are doom and gloom, I think don't have to participate in it at all. You can go, I'm actively not going to be part of anything that uses AI and I am totally OK with that. What do you mean by that? What do you mean by that? I think that in the future we are going to have things that. Are like labels, like the way we have organic food. I think people are going to label themselves as organic film makers and they're going to go, I used no AI, I used no whatever. In the making of this film and I think some people are gonna gravitate towards that types of type of filmmaking and the same way people gravitate towards organic food. I try to eat a lot of organic food so I understand that ideology every once in a while I'll also go eat a McDonald's burger like I I just think that there's. I think that there's room for all of these things and if people, and I'm not comparing that AI is inherently a McDonald's burger. But sometimes I like. Dunk food. Or sometimes I like food that is different, or molecular gastronomy or whatever. And sometimes I like. Food that was from the pasture and all this kind of stuff. And I think that. There's room for everything. There's room for all of these things. The real question is not can I use AI or not is what are you using that AI four and. Yeah, I, I just think that the people that are so negative, it's like, OK, then don't watch it, OK, It's up to you. Like, yeah, you'll have to support it, you know? Yeah, umm. Just going for some of the questions. There are some like duplicates here. OK, so this is the last question, so it's from I couldn't, there's loads more questions here that there's about. There's about 10 more people that I couldn't do questions for. So sorry for you asked the question that's not answered. So this one's from Joel James, he says. James, I would appreciate it if you could ask all to these specific questions #1 does Sara completely replace the use of runway and will the workflow from mid journey image to runway video still exist? Umm. No, I don't think so. I don't think it will replace runway. I think that there is. Different use cases for different programs and I think that some people will prefer to use Runway and some people will prefer to use Sora. Some, I think what will emerge is different things will be used for different styles of things. But I don't think so That's I don't that's not my my thought and it's been. Sorry, was there a second question there? Yeah, it says what does runway do better than SORA and what our Sauras motor down or turn offs? I would say that. I don't know, it's like hard to compare the two. I think Sora making cogent consistent live action is really. That's. That's. The amazing thing all the videos that we've seen are are kind of that I would say something that Sora. Could use some improvement on his animation I think. Anytime there was something that was more animated. It was not my favorite kind of thing, whereas maybe runway is is better at that and it but again, these things are changing every day. So to to say that is like not. Totally truthful, but what I can say is it's been such a lovely time talking with you, James. You guys should know that all the real interesting stuff happens in between the cuts. That's where the real fun conversations take place. But maybe we can do a Part 2 or something like that. And the questions we missed, we can, we can get back to them that we, we tried to answer as many as we could, but I, I must be going. But maybe we could do a Part 2.
