Building on our previous posts that highlighted our cutting-edge equipment and our commitment to upholding industry certifications, it's time to explore the equation of the day: ▶ knowledgeable Engineers and high-quality equipment ➕ procedures that adhere to norms and standards = avoiding problems ◀ Have you ever assessed the true quality of your PCB right after it arrived from the fab? Are there protocols in your organization to double-check PCB quality before moving to prototyping or manufacturing? Have you encountered puzzling #SignalIntegrity (SI) issues in your prototypes? Take a peek inside FastLogic SI Lab, where a standard PCB check on some 24-layer HDI PCB unveiled unexpected deviations in impedance values. ⚠ You might notice on TDR profiles that one of the four signal layers unexpectedly has an 80Ω impedance (red profile) instead of the specified 100Ω. Other layers also deviate significantly from the desired values considering a 10% tolerance in the PCB manufacturing process. Would you believe that this PCB proto run cost ~ $10,000, while the components for this board are valued at over $30,000 for a single PCB? Certainly, we initiated the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) procedure for this PCB run and likely averted a loss of money. In our FastLogic Signal Integrity Lab, we don't just perform basic parameter checks of PCBs. We also delve into the wide-band propagation properties of traces and the entire interconnects. Here is an example of a real-world scenario, showcasing the depth of our expertise in SI testing and quality analysis. You can count on us not just for PCB quality assessments but also for addressing any SI and/or #PowerIntegrity (PI) challenges you may face.

Now turn your initial design concept into a real PCBA. 1) Creating a schematic with EDA tools. 2) Designing the PCB layout. 3) Generating fabrication and assembly files. 4) Manufacturing and testing the prototype. E: sophie@melinegroup.com #PCBA #PCB
✨** Mounting components process of PCBA **✨ 1️⃣The pick-and-place machine sends a signal to the conveyor table indicating the need for a PCB to be fed in. The entrance sensor of the machine detects the PCB, causing the stopper at the placement position to automatically rise, and the drive motor starts moving the PCB to the stopper position.🎯 2️⃣After the PCB reaches the stopper position of the machine, the clamping mechanism automatically rises to secure the PCB.📌 3️⃣The machine's reference camera identifies the Mark points on the PCB to calibrate the placement reference.🔍 4️⃣The pick-and-place head picks up the corresponding components according to the program's requirements, with recognition and calibration performed by the camera. Capacitors and resistors are identified by the head's scanning camera, while ICs and structural components are identified by a high-precision fixed camera.✍ 5️⃣After the components are identified by the camera, they are placed in the designated positions according to the program's instructions.🏭 6️⃣The SMT line at Meline Group is equipped with YSM20R and YSM10 pick-and-place machines. The YSM20R has a maximum placement speed of 91,000 components per hour, and the YSM10 has a maximum placement speed of 46,000 components per hour. The component sizes that can be handled range from 03015 to 55mm x 100mm, with a placement accuracy of ±0.035mm.📣 7️⃣When the placement process is complete and all components have been mounted, the PCB is automatically transferred out, and a signal is sent to the conveyor table indicating the need for another PCB, repeating the above steps.🏆 👉 For more information, please see us on: 🌐www.melinegroup.com #MelineGroup #PCB #flexiblepcb #PCBA #Assembly #PCBdesign #PCBfactory #PCBAfactory #CompoentsSourcing #SMT #Stencil #electronicspart #projects #pcbfabrication #PCBAManufacturer #OEM #ODM #shell #China #teamwork #ElectronicsComponents
