AVY DRONES, CONVERTIBLE BONDS Last Chance to Subscribe Avy Bond Issue Tranche 5 The issue of the 5-year Avy 10.5% convertible bond has now been subscribed for more than € 880,000! The subscription to tranche 5 of the issue closes Do. May 23, 2024. The bonds from this tranche will be issued on Tue. 28 May 2024, after which they will be interest-bearing. Avy creates Drone Networks and enables aid organizations (police, fire brigade, ANWB) to use aircraft drones within a certain area for impactful applications. Avy is currently raising €2.5 million in growth financing through the bond issue at NPEX, to enable the scaling up of their new life-saving aircraft drones. #5G #Privatenetworks are on the rise in #Belgium. 🇧🇪 While spending last 1,5 years in Belgium, I do feel inspired after doing some research on Belgium 5G and talking to the people across industries. All big operators are heavily investing in technology and people related to Private Networks: Proximus, Telenet, Orange and Citymesh. Here are some major public announcements in recent years with many more deployments in the pipe 📶 : - 🚢 "Proximus to deploy private 5G network at Belgium’s Port of Antwerp-Bruges." is the most well known deployment with multiple maritime use cases - ✈ "Citymesh runs drones tests on private 5G network at Brussels Airport" which is another flagship project show-casing partnership between companies and focus on #Drones - 🛳 "Nokia completes phase one of Belgian Port of Zeebrugge digitalization with 5G-ready private wireless network". Another port and another great project for Citymesh - 🏭 "BASF and Citymesh to deploy a Private 5G Network at a facility in the Port of Antwerp in Belgium" building on partnership with BASF and putting some question marks for external observer: Who is actually deploying 5G Private network in Port of Antwerp? There is also 5G hub by Orange and Ericsson project with ISEA - 🚑 🚒 🚓 There are also several 5G projects related to Festivals, Smart cities and waterways covering diverse spectrum of industries - 🎥 "RTBF innovates on the Belgian market with live broadcast using Proximus NXT's 5G technology". The latest one and from Media industry, which is gaining traction in 5G private network space. To deliver on this promise, they developed Black Swan, a remotely-piloted cargo #drone made for long distances. Black Swan can carry the same load as a small #cargo van over a distance of up to 1,550 miles. On top of that, the company is also looking to switch to alternative, low and carbon-free fuels and claims that the “Black Swan” is up to 80% faster, 50% cheaper and produces 60% fewer emissions than other #transportation methods.
