WATER PROJECT: The extension and upgrade project of the Outapi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has started today. According to the chief executive officer of Namwater, Abraham Nehemia, the N$141.8 million project aims to increase both the capacity and the quality of water provided to residents of Outapi. The minister of agriculture, water and land reform, Calle Schlettwein explained that the project will increase water supply capacity, improve water quality, and support regional growth as well as development. “In the coming months, we will witness the transformation of this vision into reality,” said the governor of the Omusati region Erginus Endjala at the launch.
