Why gumi Cryptos Capital invested in Zero Gravity’s $35M round 0G Labs completed their $35M seed fundraise that included gumi Cryptos Capital alongside Hack VC, Bankless Ventures, Delphi, LongHash Ventures, Stanford Blockchain Fund, Polygon Labs, GSR, OKX and others. With several distributed data breakthroughs, 0G enables the high throughput saving and loading of state via smart contracts, which enables use cases that were previously thought impossible, such as on-chain AI, on-chain gaming, and high frequency DeFi. To illustrate, with 0G, developers now have the ability to store large inference traces and input data, and run inference requests all natively on-chain with increased speed and performance characteristics. Cysic, a startup focused on accelerating zero-knowledge (ZK) computations through specialized hardware, has secured $12 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by industry leaders HashKey Capital and OKX Ventures. This funding round was also marked by participation from prominent investors, including ABCDE, Bit Digital, Coinswitch, IDG, Matrix Partners, Polychain, SNZ Holding, Web3.com Ventures. Cysic aims to develop application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and accelerator cards to significantly boost the performance of ZK-based applications, enabling faster and more efficient privacy-preserving computations. The funding will be used to expand Cysic's engineering team, advance its hardware development efforts, and support the company's go-to-market strategy. Zero-knowledge proofs are a cryptographic technique that allows for the verification of data without revealing the underlying information, offering enhanced privacy and security for various applications, including blockchain, finance, and data sharing. By providing specialized hardware solutions, Cysic aims to address the computational challenges associated with ZK proofs, enabling their broader adoption across industries.

BINANCE LABS ANNOUNCES FIRST COHORT FOR SEASON 7 INCUBATION PROGRAM - Binance Labs introduced the inaugural batch of its Season 7 Incubation Program. This initiative is designed to support early-stage Web3 startups with a structured curriculum and access to Binance’s ecosystem. Introducing the First Four Projects - Astherus: Astherus aims to serve as a liquidity hub for staked assets, focusing on liquid staking tokens (LSTs) and liquid restaking tokens (LRTs). - Cycle Network: Cycle Network seeks to establish an aggregate liquidity network across various blockchain layers, including Layer 1s, Layer 2s, and both EVM and non-EVM blockchains. - Dill: Dill is advancing as a scalable data availability network, aims to enhance data processing efficiency and reliability within blockchain networks. - Eigen Explorer: Eigen Explorer is the first native DeFi protocol from EigenLayer. It aims to offer new financial services and functionalities by leveraging EigenLayer’s technology.
