Quali performance evolution though the year for the the top 5 F1 teams. How it changed from race to race, why, correlating with changes from regulation perspective, how competition improved, track specifics and many more. A lot of questions that can be raised for finding and understanding the reasons. Depending on these the teams develop, challenge FIA, make adjustments and all of these for managing and stay first. What do we do with our business processes? @image credits Fdataanalysis #F1 #performance #continuousimprovement #leansixsigma #AdvancedOrganisationalConsulting

"These last few weeks are the first time l've switched off from F1 for around a decade... when you step away, you get clarity - and you can see what you need to do. While you're there, you're in denial, you think you can do it but you cannot." Guenther Steiner is a former F1 principal and quite a popular one, who was leading Haas team. An F1 team trying to punch above their weight with some nice results in some seasons but always struggling to develop the car because of the budget. What draw my attention is what he was saying few days ago. How many times we are so close and so used with the current processes and performance that maybe we can not see the true potential or understand that we need other ways for unlocking that potential? “This is how our processes perform.” Maybe this a reason for which process improvement experts or people outside of those processes/ organizations can come with a fresh look, ask questions and challenge the status quo. @ image credits F1.com #statusquo #improvement #potentialunleashed #challenge #advancedorganisationalconsulting

Excel's Pit Stop: Reviving Formula 1's Competitive Edge Formula 1 is one of the most fast-paced working environments, and even the slightest advantage can make the difference between winning and losing. Yet, as technology evolved, the once-trusted tool of Excel began to hold back leading F1 teams due to its inherent limitations as a planning tool. The Williams F1 Team's recognition of Excel's limitations marked a turning point, revitalising their competitive spirit. Their cars were built in Excel up to and including the year 2024, almost resisting better-equipped software that would have ensured higher performance outputs. At Both&, we encourage businesses to break free from outdated methods and embrace a future of innovation and success. We guide businesses into the age of digitalisation and help them stay informed and up-to-date with the latest trends in tech. Formula 1's journey reminds us of the importance of adapting to change. Sometimes, there are streaks of gold in the old; other times, it is best to rapidly shift gears and evolve with the times. #Bothand #Formula1 #Excel #OutdatedSoftware #DigitalTransformation

As a big Formula 1 (F1) fan, I see striking parallels between racing and financial planning. Both demand precision, strategy, and adaptability such as: - Having a race strategy – Like a driver studying the circuit, financial success starts with a well-thought-out plan. - Consistency over speed – Winning isn’t just about going fast; it’s about consistency, much like building wealth over time. - Adapting to changing conditions – Whether it's weather on the track or market shifts, being flexible with your approach is crucial. In F1 and in life, it’s not always about how fast you go, but how well you handle the journey! #F1 #FinancialPlanning #Strategy #WealthBuilding

Managing a complex bid can feel like a high-speed Formula 1 race against time. Am I saying that you're basically an F1 driver if you're on a bid/proposal team? Yes, I am. https://lnkd.in/euBB6QVT #govcon #governmentcontracting #bidmanagement

F1's influence in the US has outgrown its relatively flat linear viewership as the sport continues to punch above its weight from a cultural and commercial perspective. F1 Singapore Grand Prix last weekend and for preparing the strategy they were looking on the data. Everybody was taking into consideration the 100% probability of safety car, looking back on the previous races. Surprise or not, you know how it is with predictions… no safety car on Sunday. It seems a possible explanation it is the change with the 3rd drs zone that facilitated overtakes and reduced riskier ones. So with predictions there is never 100%, lots of factors to be taken into account and if the process is changed, well the data is related to the older “process”. @image credts F1 #f1 #data #process #factors #AdvancedOrganisationalConsulting

Fascinating story of F1 Williams team's transformation journey! Did you know they were 20 years behind other F1 teams in some areas, and even built and managed their F1 car in Excel? But they recognized that this was not the foundation for better results. So, they overhauled their processes, systems, and culture. It wasn't just about performance, but also the number of developments throughout the season. When do you think it's the right time for a company to undergo a transformation by redesigning its processes, structure, systems, and teams? @movie credits The race #f1 #companytransformation #processredesign #transformation #advancedorganisationalconsulting
